I have been in the health, wellness and fitness industry for over 25 years. Fitness became my passion when I was a teenager. I started taking aerobic classes (now known as group fitness classes) and from there I never looked back. Since then it has become part of my daily lifestyle, and I am happy to say a career.
Our bodies aren’t meant to be sedentary; we need to move! My goals are to teach, coach, instruct and motivate others to do that and to do it correctly and effectively. Proper instruction and guidance are important but so is finding enjoyment in the exercises a person chooses.
I have certifications in Spin, Hatha Yoga, Mat Pilates, Cardio Kickboxing and Senior Fitness. I have taken continuing educational courses in Exercise, Diabetes and Metabolic Syndrome, Pregnancy and Exercise, Nutrition and Health Performance, Nutrient Timing for Optimal Performance, Exercise for Coronary Artery Disease, Exercise and Autoimmune Disease, Exercise for the low back, Exercise after hip or knee replacement, Exercise and Osteoporosis, Menopause, and Exercise and Chronic Shoulder Conditions
